An open letter from Jacqui Smith to Theresa May

I saw this article from The Independent and thought it might be of interest to you.  Beleaguered and defeated MP and former Home Secretary (i.e. Minister of Interior Affairs) Jacqui Smith writes a letter to Conservative MP and her replacement at the Home Office, Theresa May, on the challenges that await on this job. Some of them include tackling crime, including how communities are essential in combating it, police matters, and immigration. It is also a warning that much of the policies implemented - good and bad - will be inevitably judged in terms of her gender.
